Description
In order to provide real-time information to facilitate motorists for finding vacant parking spaces, as a trial scheme, the Transport Department has installed sensors at about 250 non-metered on-street parking spaces to detect whether the parking spaces are occupied, so as to reduce the time for vehicles circulating on the roads for finding vacant parking spaces.
The location and occupancy data of non-metered on-street parking spaces with sensors installed will be provided in data resources below.
